Jupiter
Banded, ringed, covered by storms,
It’s size alone beyond belief,
The giant planet and its 92 consorts
(As of this day in 2023)
Clears a swath of space debris,
And gravitationally creates the chaos
Called the Asteroid Belt.
Does Jupiter preen, flexing its place
In the solar system?
No. True greatness
Speaks for itself.
